Bishu Foundation’s Sustainable Livelihood Program is committed to creating resilient and inclusive economic opportunities for underserved communities, particularly tribal populations, women, and youth. We recognize that sustainable development begins with secure and dignified livelihoods that respect both people and the planet.
Our approach integrates traditional knowledge with modern practices, promoting eco-friendly agriculture, value-added rural enterprises, skill development, and entrepreneurship. We work closely with Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs), Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and grassroots institutions to enhance income generation while ensuring environmental stewardship.
Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, especially SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), our program fosters self-reliance, reduces vulnerability, and drives holistic community development. Through capacity building, market linkages, and innovation, we strive to build a future where every individual has the means to thrive sustainably.
Bishu Foundation, in collaboration with its dedicated associates, brings together a dynamic alliance of IT and media professionals, along with grassroots NGOs committed to their respective sectors. This collective effort aims to foster inclusive development, amplify social impact, and drive innovation in community-driven initiatives. By combining technological expertise, creative communication, and sectoral knowledge, the partnership is paving the way for sustainable change across diverse regions and communities.
